Us Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ARCOIN, SL) has recently begun the refurbishment of the Square Agua de Bueyes, an initiative by the city of Antigua and included within the improvement of the free and public spaces of the town. The works, which have an investment of 148,055 euros, will be in a period of five months.
The works will include the partial demolition and removal of existing pavement in the square, to be coated with natural stone, porphyry, lip or irregular tile type, improving the environment of the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, classified as a Site of Interest Cultural (BIC), and ennobling their appearance.
Other actions include the removal of low plants and the demolition of the walls near the boundary of the plot that connects with the upper street, achieving expand the usable space of the square parterres. To this the adaptation and extension of the existing ramp is attached to facilitate the entry of vehicles into the square (cleaning vehicles, emergency, etc..).
The project also includes the construction of ramps and access to natural stone, demolition and new implementation of the stairs to the plaza and the remodeling and adaptation of the staircase that connects with the public school.
In addition, pipelines for preinstallation different connections, both electrical and water irrigation network in gardens, sewer connection and disposal of stormwater run. Similarly, replacing intervene in existing fixtures.
