Fuerteventura host the V edition of the Atlantic Hall of Logistics and Transport SALT 2014that as of November 19 will be held in the facilities of the Technological Park of FuerteventuraThe president of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Mario Cabrera, met yesterday with the director general of Transport of the Government of the Canary Islands, Rosa Davila, to advance preparations for this international meeting of transportation. The meeting included a visit to the bioclimatic building of the Technology Parkalongside the technical team of SALTAlso attended by the Minister for Transport, Natalia Évora, and the Minister for Economic Development, Manuel Miranda.

The Salon is organized by the Cluster Canario Transport and with the collaboration of the Canary Islands Government, through the program of actions to enhance the connectivity between the islands and southern Moroccowhich in turn is part of the Operational Programme of Cooperation External BordersSpain border.

Rosa Davila explained that the connectivity to Africa, especially through Tarfayawill be one of the central themes of this edition of SALTAlso said that “a number of African countries have confirmed the presence of delegations, but have also shown interest in participating delegations from other countries such as Germany, Turkey and Bulgaria, who value opportunities Canary Africa as a business platform.”
